We Are Recruiting Founding Members
Accountability For Our Children is assembling a founding advisory board of qualified professionals committed to improving transparency, procedural fairness, and public understanding of family court systems. Advisory board members provide strategic guidance, subject-matter expertise, and institutional credibility to our research programs.
We seek individuals with demonstrated backgrounds in family law, judicial administration, child welfare policy, legal academia, and nonprofit governance. Advisory board service is voluntary and conducted remotely. Reasonable expenses for approved activities are reimbursed.
Estimated time commitment: 2–4 hours per quarter. Responsibilities include reviewing research methodology, advising on educational programming, participating in quarterly virtual meetings, and contributing subject-matter expertise to specific research questions.

Wearing the AFOC lapel pin signals public support for the organization's work — independent research and free public education on family court procedure and transparency. Like the lapel ribbons that recognize public support for cancer research or veterans' organizations, the AFOC pin is a quiet visible affiliation, not a posture in any individual case.
Pins are offered to supporters at the Guardian giving level and above, and on request to community members who use AFOC's educational materials.
